The European Commission has crossed the line in its Apple tax ruling, according to the Taoiseach.
Enda Kenny has defended Ireland’s decision to appeal the 13 billion euro order, as he meets with other EU heads of state and government today to discuss the future of Europe.
During last week’s Dáil Debate on the issue, Carlow/Kilkenny TD John McGuinness also dubbed the EU’s ruling as “commission creep” into Irish policy.
Deputy McGuinness said the decision was completely wrong.
